There is just something so irresistible with this place and this bitso-bitso! They have all the Filipino desserts and pastries that will transport you back to your childhood. I highly recommend this place. The service was efficient and friendly!

Pastries are delicious! I can't speak to its authenticity but there were many Filipino customers in line so you know this place is legit. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth a return visit

AMAZING place! The only time I'm disappointed is when they're out of something. These custard buns were flipping delicious! Their pepperoni rolls are our favorite.

I don’t know their history but I have been going here since I learned about this place in 2000-2001. I always get a dozen of their delicious, freshly baked, hot pandesal each time. Today, I also got some twisted bread. You have two options, either dipped in sugar or cinnamon. Either one, they’re delicious. They are only available in the morning and they sold out fast. Everything at this bakery is good. I also love their buko pie, ensaymada, pandecoco, bibingka and hopia baboy. The people there are so pleasantly nice. They are courteous and treat their customers with respect. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend Angie’s Bakery.

I am from Delaware (vacationing at Virginia Beach) and there are no good bakeries there at all. My favorite Filipino spot closed so I was on the hunt for some great baked and cooked Filipino foods. This place hit the spot! I bought a dozen pandesal which by the way was priced AMAZINGLY cheap but great quality. Got the buko ube pie, cassava cake, pineapple ube and baboy hopia (recommend the pineapple!), the ube and pan de coco bread and of course the ube latte. ALL of it was great! I wish I can get their food shipped to my house.. otherwise I will definitely come back when I am anywhere close to here again. Totally worth every dollar spent!

There is a wide variety of tasty prepackaged foods, and my favorite menu item is freshly baked and warm pandesal. I have been visiting Angie’s bakery to get pandesal for over a decade. The pandesal is authentically Filipino and reminds me of the pandesal my mom bought from the markets in Samar. Now there is an ube pandesal available! Along with other tasty ube pastries, like my other favorite hopia ube. There is even ube cheesecake available.

Aside from the Pan de Coco, had to try the Spanish bread. I've tried many local bakery that sells Spanish bread but Angies seems to hit the spot. Consistent from the first to the last bite. Not to mention, better priced Quick to service and an ambiance of a bakery. Love the smell of fresh baked bread.

Wow!! Since I've come to love everything made with Ube, this location is a veritable fairyland of goodies. They didn't have the Ube Spanish Bread, which is my favorite. But their Ube Rolls are a close second. The first time I went they were fresh from the oven. I had to have one in the car before heading home. It was so hot & fresh that my finger made an indentation in the roll. Yumminess personified!! It was a quite busy time of the day so I quickly purchased a bag of 6 Ube Rolls (not nearly enough), an Ube Crinkle Cookie, a slice of Bibingka (recommended by my physical therapist) & a Pandesal. Since I don't like sweets the Ube Rolls were by far my favorite. I have one everyday now with my breakfast. On a return trip I purchased a bag of twelve, which is a more reasonable amount for me. My PT's favorite Bibingka was too sweet for my tastebuds. They had a Ube Bibingka that day but not offered in the large slices. That probably would have better suited for me. Angie's has quite a variety of offerings. But I was on a singleminded focus aimed at Ube. The location is the Kemps River Crossing Shopping Center, a large winding collection of strip businesses occupying the northwest corner of the intersection of Kempsville & Indian River Roads. Coming from the north end of the city I chose the Independence to Witchduck Road route. Witchduck becomes Kempsville Road when it crosses Princess Anne Road. Once inside the shopping center I let a navigation program guide me to the store. Another route from the north is I-64 exiting at Indian Road. But I never trust I-64 if at all possible during tourist season. You never know what obstacle might hinder your pathway. I love your Ube Rolls Angie's Bakery. Returning will be a regular part of my life.

Finally tried Angie's bakery! This isn't too far from my house so there's no excuse why it took so long. The employees were nice and helpful. I ordered the Hopia with the apple pie filling. It was okay, it was kinda dry. I had never had it before so I didn't know what to expect. Next time I will order something else, maybe some kind of bread? We've had items from Angie's bakery before at different events so I know their other products are phenomenal. Will definitely return.
